Riley 4/68, 4/72
The Riley 4/68 was launched in April 1959 as the last of the ADO9 saloons. Although Pinin Farina had produced the body design, it was Sid Goble who did the 'badge engineering' of the Nuffield versions. The Riley shared the specification of the MG Magnette, as well as the fins and lights of that model. In 1961 All models were upgraded with the 1622cc B-series engine for the ADO 38 facelift, which was remaned 'Riley 4/72'. The Riley outlived the MG Magnette by a year, being the final car to carry the Riley name in October 1969.
