Alvis 3.5-litre SA 25.63 and Speed 25 SB and SC 25.63
Evolving out of the Speed 20 SC, the 3.5-litre (SA 25.63) was a short-lived model built on a 10 ft. 7 in. wheelbase with a new 3571cc 102 bhp inline six. It was introduced in 1935 but only about 60 were made. The 3.5-litre then evolved into the Speed 25 (SB 25.63) built on a 10 ft. 4 in. chassis, and using the 3.5-litre engine. It was launched in 1936, usually carrying standard coachwork, and in 1939 it was revised as the SC 25.63 no longer having running boards. The Speed 25 did not restart production after the Second world war.

Alvis SC 25.63 Speed 25 1940. In 1939 the SC 25.63 model lost its running boards. The Speed 25 was in essence the 3.5-litre model on the shorter Speed 20 Chassis and was capable of 95mph with the right bodywork. Bodies were series built rather than bespoke.
