Armstrong Siddeley Four 14
When launched in 1923, the Armstrong-Siddeley Four Fourteen was the smallest car of their range. The Fourteen was given an 1852cc ohv engine, and was first offered with an open tourer body and later 2-seater with dickey, saloon, landaulette. A Mark Two model was offered from 1925 with a new chassis and brakes on four wheels, and more choice in coachwork. From 1928 the Wilson Pre-selector gearbox was offered on 30hp and 18hp Armstrong-Siddeley cars and then the 12hp, 14hp and 15hp. The Four Fourteen was sold until 1929 and 14,000 left the factory most with Burlington coachwork, a subsidiary of Armstrong-Siddeley.
