Austin K8 Van 'Three-Way' because it had doors on both sides and on the back. Carbodies were commissioned to build this design after war work done for Austin during WW2. Side doors were novel on panel vans in 1948 when this was launched. Load capacity was 25cwt and the engine was a 2,199cc engine OHV petrol from the Austin 16. The K8 was built from 1948-54 and was used as the basis of coachbuilt vehicles. |
