The 1968 Bentley T-Series Coupe Speziale resulted from a commission given to Sergio Pininfarina to create a car for James E. Hanson. The body was designed by Paolo Martin. The completed car was exhibited at the 1968 London Motor Show and the Paris Salon before being delivered in May 1969. It was based on a standard Bentley T-series, but was later updated to T2 specification. However, this car created a relationship between Rolls-Royce Motors and Pininfarina which led on to the 1975 Rolls-Royce Camargue.
