Bristol 603, Britannia and Blenheim The Bristol 603 inherited much of the Bristol 411 mechanics in 1976 although the power choice is a smaller 5.2-litre or 5.9-litre Chrysler V8 engines. The body is all new for the 603, designed by Dudley Hobbs; there was a slightly altered 603 Series II from 1978. In 1982 Bristol updated the 603 and sold it as the 'Britannia' or for the turbocharged version, 'Brigand'. The Blenheim was launched in 1994 and from 1998 to 1999 the Blenheim 2 carried an altered boot, and from 2000 to 2009 the Blenheim 3 was sold with a refreshed front end. There was a single Blenheim 4 in 2009 which was kitted out for LPG fuel. |
