Bill Mitchell produced new 129.5-inch GM C-body designs for the 1965 Cadillacs. The deVille series now had a convertible as well as a 2-door Coupe deVille and two versions of the 4-door Sedan deVille, both a hardtop and a pillared sedan. There were new grilles for 1968 and horizontal headlamps for 1969. A new grille for 1970, and the final year for the pillared sedans with only hardtop models now offered.

Cadillac Coupe deVille 1968. In 1967 Bill Mitchell gave Cadillac a more chiselled look, and a stepped up waistline. He also gave the Coupes thicker c-pillars for privacy; the small quarter window would into the pillar.

Cadillac Sedan DeVille 1970. Bill Mitchell restyled the Cadillac in 1969 lengthening both the bonnet and the rear deck to give the impression of a longer car, but in fact it only grew one inch since 1965. Front quarterlights were removed and better ventilation given.
Cadillac Sedan DeVille 1970. In 1969 Cadillac restyled its car bringing them closer to the Eldorado model. They grew longer to 225-inches.

Cadillac Calais 1965 Hardtop Sedan. Powered by a 7,025cc (429) 308 bhp V8 engine. The vertical lights were a new Cadillac design feature fopr the new 1965 GM C-body.
Cadillac Fleetwood 1970 Sixty Special. The Fleetwood was again offered as the Sixty Special and the longer 75. The body dated back to 1965, but for 1969 it gained horizontal headlamps instead of vertical ones. A new 7.7-litre V8 had been acquired in 1968.
