John Coleman and Roderick Milne founded Coleman-Milne in Bolton in 1953, starting with general bodywork and building horseboxes. The company then started building limousines and funeral hearses and most of its business is now in that arena. An early product for conversion was Ford's Zephyr and Zodiac cars with Dorchester and Grosvenor models offered, which later evolved into Granada based cars.

Ford Granada 1978 Coleman Milne Limousine. The 'Coupe' rear is apparently panels that were added during conversion to an otherwise standard saloon body.
Ford Granada Coleman-Milne Grosvenor. Limousines based on large saloons were a lot cheaper to build than the more traditional kind, and had the advantage that they were almost as cheap to run and maintain as the saloon car they were converted from.
