Designer: William Towns William Towns started his design work at Rootes from 1954 doing seats and interior fittings and contributed to the Hillman Hunter. Towns then spent 3years with David Bache at Rover from 1963 before joining Aston Martin in 1966. In 1967 William Towns designed the Aston Martin DBS and DBS V8, and in 1974 the Aston Martin Lagonda. After leaving Aston Martin in 1977 he created the Jensen-Healey and later the Reliant SS2. |
