Fiat Dino Coupe
Tasked with building 500 2.0litre V6 engines in order to homologate the V6 for Formula 2 Racing, Enzo Ferrari asked Aurelio Lampredi to develop the engine from the racing V6, and Fiat manufactured this 'Ferrari' engine at Turin. Ferrari sold the V6 in their Dino 206 GT. Fiat developed two cars to contain this V6, and in 1967 two launched the Bertone-built Coupe body penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro. In 1969 the V6 engine was uprated to 2418cc for both the Fiat and the Ferrari cars.
