Sold from April 1963 to May 1964 the Facel Vega Facel III replaced the troublesome Facellia. The main difference being the replacement of the Pont-a-Mousson engine 1,647cc 4-cylinder engine with a Volvo B18B 1,779cc engine. There was also some restyling of the 96.5-inch body which was offered as a 2-seater convertible or coupe and also as a 4-seater coupe. 1,100 were sold before the company went bankrupt in 1964.
