Ferrari 250 GT Lusso. The 250 GT Lusso was intended to be a comfortable Ferrari to replace the 250 GT Berlinetta as a road car, although some were raced. 351 Lussos were sold in a short production run of about 18 months.
Ferrari 250 GT Lusso. Developed from the 250 GT SWB, the Lusso (or GT/L) replaced the SWB in 1962. Mechanically it shared a lot of the chassis and components with the 250 GTO and owners did race it. a 2,953cc Colombo V12 powered the Lusso. Replaced in 1964 by the 275 GTB.
Ferrari 250 GT Lusso 1963. This 250 Lusso was originally supplied to the owner of Techno who produced Formula 2 and Formula 3 racing cars in Bologna. Medardo Fantuzzi made the bodies for these F2 and F3 cars, so Techno boss Luciano Pederzani asked him to modify his Lusso with a new nose. By 1968 the car had passed through many owners and turned up in New York having acquired the triple GTO vents in the bonnets and rear wheel arch.
Ferrari 250 GT Lusso 1963. This one has a modified front by Medardo Fantuzzi who built racing car bodies for the first owner. However, subsequent body modifications were made by later owners including the brake vents in the rear wings.
