Ferrari 308 GTB, GTS
The 308 GTB was launched at Paris in 1975 with superb bodywork by Leonardo Fiorovanti, and it became regarded as a true successor to the lovely Dino 246 GT. In fact it was designed to supplement the bigger 4-seater Dino 308 GT4 with unloved Bertone bodywork. For the first year bodies were made of GRP and afterwards of steel. In 1980 Bosch fuel injection was given to the engine, mainly to meet federal emmissions, and in 1982 the power lost was restored on the Quattrovalvole 4-valve model. The 308 evolved firstly into the Supercar 288 GTO, and then into production cars 328 and 348.
