Ford Popular 103E. Using the same tooling as the Ford Anglia E494A, the "new" 103E Popular was launched in 1953 as a very basic car to undercut the new 100E Ford Anglia.
Ford Popular 103E. Identical to the E494A Anglia, which was the same as the E04A Anglia apart from the bustle-back boot to keep the spare wheel inside
Ford 103E Popular. Beginning life in 1937 as the Ford 7Y, it used a shorter version of the 7W body. Revised into the Ford Anglia E04A in 1939 and again into the Anglia E494A until 1953. Then Anglia badges were replaced by 'Popular', the trim was simplified and the Ford 103E Popular was launched for 1953.
