Ford Zephyr 4 (211E)
In 1962 Ford transferred the 'Consul' name to the Classic, Cortina and the Corsair, and decided to call the new 4-cylinder car the 'Zephyr 4'. Underneath the mechanics and chassis of the Consul MkII continued, wrapped in bodywork by Roy Brown some of which was based on a styling exercise by Frua. Production continued until the MkIV Zephyr and Zodiacs were launched in 1966.
