Lancia Flavia
Lancia announced its Flavia berlina in 1961, the result of Professor Fessia's engineering which included a Boxer Four aluminium engine of 1,488cc, disc brakes on all wheels and front wheel drive. In 1963 the engine was uprated to 1,800cc and subsequently to 1,991cc in 1969 and with fuel injection from 1971. The 4-door berlina was supplemented by a Pininfarina Coupe and later there were Zagato Sport Coupes and Vignale spiders. The Flavia II was heavily revised in 1969 and given the new 2-litre engine. From 1971 only the Pininfarina Coupe and 4-door Berlina were sold, and the name 'Flavia' was deleted.
