Lancia chose her name for its little car, the Lancia Fulvia which was launched as a Berlina at the Geneva Salon in 1963 to replace the Lancia Appia. Antonio Fessia designed the Fulvia, and equipped with a new 1091cc V4 dohc engine by Zaccione Mina. A GT version of the 4-door saloon followed in 1967 with 1216cc engine, and a GTE model in 1968 with a 1298cc engine. In 1965 the Fulvia Coupe was launched, styled by Pietro Castagnero, who also styled the Berlina. |
