Lancia Gamma Coupe
Pininfarina's fastback Lancia Gamma Berlina (not a hatchback) was launched at the Geneva Salon in 1974. This was followed in 1979 by the Gamma Coupe launched at the Geneva Salon in 1979, which is attributed to Aldo Brovarone. It shared the same 2484cc Flat-four engine driving the front wheels as the saloon. Unfortunately the mechanics of the Coupe were no better than those of the Berlina that shared them, and the lovely Coupe was a flawed product and a slow seller.

Lancia Gamma Coupe S2 rear
Lancia Gamma S2 Coupe. Wheras the Lancia Gamma Berlina was seen as bloated, and its fastback shape disliked, Aldo Brovarone's Coupe was well liked. The 'sunburst' wheels were given to the Series II.
