Designed by David Ogle of Ogle Design, and built on the longer chassis of a Mini Van. Kits could be supplied for owners to build in their own components or could be sold fully built. David Ogle was killed in 1962 in an SX1000 and the mini special ended production after about 60 had been built. Boat builder Norman Fletcher acquired the SX1000 moulds and produced a further four cars with some restyling. Fletcher also produced a hideous version with revised front and Ford Cortina power.
