Morris Ten-Four, Series II, Series III, Series M
The Morris Ten was launched as a new model for the 1933 season, which had a 10hp 1292cc sidevalve engine. Renamed 'Ten Four' (and sometimes called the 'Series I') in 1934, the Ten was supplemented by the six cylinder Ten-Six for 1934-5. In 1935 the Series II Morris Ten was launched and shared its new bodywork with the Morris Twelve-Four. In 1938 the 1292cc sidevalve engine was updated to overhead valve design, and a painted barred grille was given to the Morris Ten Series III. Morris replaced the Morris Ten Series III with an all new unitary construction car in 1938 that also boasted a new ohv 1140cc engine. Later in 1938 the Morries Eight Series E followed the same leap in technology.
