Morris Oxford 'Flatnose'
In 1912 the first Morris Oxford appeared with its distinctive 'Bullnose' radiator. For 1926, Oxford and Cowleys gained new chassis, but the Cowley was only given rear wheel brakes. Gone was the 'Bullnose' radiator, now replaced by the cheaper and more efficient 'Flatnose' radiator. Another chassis change was made for 1932 and revised bodies, and from 1929-1933 an 'Oxford-Six' was offered with a 1936cc six cylinder engine. For 1934 and 1935 there were Oxford Sixteens and Twenties with larger 6-cylinder engines.
