Packard Clipper 200
The Packard Clipper 200 was introduced in 1951, although it had been planned to launch it simply as 'Clipper' and take off the 'Packard' badges until dealers objected. John Reinhart designed a new low body which was sold as the 200 model as 2-door coupe or a 4-door sedan, and as the 250 model in 2-door hardtop or 2-door convertible on a 122-inch chassis. They were also sold as the Packard 300 and Packard 400 Patrician on a 127-inch wheelbase. From 1953 to 1956 the 200 and 250 were sold as Packard Clipper. In 1956 Clippers were sold without Packard badging, but it was the final year for Packard cars.
