Introduced in 1985 the Renault Express Van to replace the Renault R4 based Fourgonette. It was launched with a choice of 956cc or 1108cc petrol engines or 1595cc diesel, and in 1986 the 1397cc engine is added. Production continues until 1991 when a new black grille and different headlamps restyled the Express until the Renault Kangoo was ready to replace it in 1997.

Renault Express Van
Renault Express Van. The Express was available as a Van, often with a lifting roof panel abover the rear doors to allow the Boulangere to stand at the back selling his wares. There was also a Break version with windows and seats and a version that could be made into a pickup or carry special bodywork.
