Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn Pininfarina
In August 1950 the chassis of a Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn was sent to Milano and the purchaser asked Carrozzeria Pininfarina- to design a body for it. The Coupe was exhibited at the 1951 Salon di Torino. The resulting car was suggested for a production run of Continentals, but at three times the price of a coachbuilt saloon it was not economic and Rolls-Royce Motors came up with the Bentley R-type Continental instead
