The 3-litre Talbot-Lago T120 was announced at the 1934 Paris Salon along with the 4.0-litre T150. Walter Becchia developed the 3-litre straight six into a 3996cc engine for the T150. This engine had a single camshaft operating overhead valves, hemispherical combustion chambers, and 3 downdraft Zenith carburetors to give 165bhp in competition (T150C) form. A competition version of the T150C was offered, and a short wheelbase T150 CSS was also available. For 1937 a lightweight competition version (T150C) was offered and became a winner on track, but only 6 of these were built. The T150 C SS was a touring version of the T150C, and about 30 were built. Production ended in 1940, and restarted in 1946 with the 4483cc six cylinder T26 models.
