Introduced in 1951 the Lago Baby was built on a 123-inch chassis with a ponton body. A slightly longer car was built for the T26 with its larger 6-cylinder engine. For 1953 a a three-piece wraparound rear window was devised, but it was too late for Talbot-Lago and few were built. In 1952 the troublesome T15 4-cylinder 2,690cc engine was optionally replaced by a new 2.5-litre inline six with better bearings.
