Wolseley Series II and III Cars Wolseleys 12hp car for the 1930s middle classes

 Wolseley 12/48 Series II.  In 1936 the -Series II- Wolseleys appeared with raked back screens and sloped grilles.  The 12/48 shared the 1548cc OHV engine and many chassis and mechanical parts with the Morris 12/4.
 Wolseley 12/48 Series II.As well as sharing the chassis, engine and mechanics of the Morris 12/4, the 12/48 also shared its chassis with the Wolseley 10/40.
 Wolseley 12/48 Series II. In 1937 the -Series III- replaced this rakish Series II model, but mechanically the cars were the same.
