In Yugoslavia the Fiat 1300 and 1500 cars were sold as the Zastava 1300 and 1500 (also called 'Tristac' which means 300) and continued in production from 1961 until 1979, even after Fiat halted production on the 1300/1500 in 1967. The 1300 had a 1,295cc engine and the 1500 was given 1,481cc. The Zastava 1300E and 1500E were better equipped versions and had four wheel discs. Zastava contributed to the Polski Fiat 125P which used the body of the Lada (Fiat 124) married to the floor pan and mechanics of the Zastava 1300/1500.
